Door Cylinder Removal

There are several methods for opening a locked door, each with its own advantages and applications. Here are some common techniques we offer:

Lock Pulling: Using our Euro lock puller we can quickly and effectively remove Euro cylinder locks without causing damage to the door or locking mechanism, making it our preferred tool for emergency lockouts. These tools can handle various types of Euro cylinder locks, including those with anti-snap features, which are commonly used in many residential and commercial properties.

Snapping: Using our snapper is a tool to snap the lock cylinder, allowing access to the locking mechanism. This method is quick but can really only be used from the inside of the door if anti-snap locks are fitted, so it's typically used as a last resort.

Drilling: Drilling involves using a drill to bore through the lock cylinder, allowing the lock to be turned or removed. We use a specialist milling drill with tungsten burrs to drill through even the toughest 3star locks.

Safety: Using a specialized tools can increase safety for both the service engineer and the property, as it minimizes the potential for accidental damage or injury.
